Sweet write up....keep up the updates.
One question......whay type/size compressor do you have? I've notice many do not flow enough CFM for a paint gun.
you changed your screen name man? Ihave a craftsman 6.5 hp. its rated at about 6cfm IIRC
and here we are clear coated, make sure before clear coating that you wipe down your surface again to remove any settled dust while flashing. I mixed my clear 4 to 1 reducer to 1 hardener.

remember saftey is first!! if you do not have the proper mask, gloves, gear to perform this, do not do it!! the mask is the most imprtant. The crap in the clear coat can kill you very fast!!

yeh, moved to NC....so ATL3 wasn't workin anymoreOriginally Posted by SecretAznMan4u
Good to know.....I'm trying to decide on either a DIY project or paying a shop to paint my m-tech kit, reiger lip and 97 facia. Its been sitting in my garage for almost a year now. : I thought you already had the ACS kit....or did you finally sell that car?
Think I may buy a compressor and paint it myself. Air tools rock And the intitial cost will only be slightly more than paying a shop I think.
now since I don't have a big enough oven to accel the drying time, we'll go take nap, and finish the install around noon. ( worked late last night )
Whats up eric
*cough* *cough*
wing paint
*cough*
If I ever do any paint work I'll refer back to this definately....looks good. You know what looks even better? The white porsche in your driveway. Best spur-of-the-moment purchase I've ever seen .
p.s. Is this going to match the car well? I mean, how did you match the paint?

Wow, I'm really impressed. I'll have to go find your thread on painting...I think this is something I want to do. How much did paint cost and where did you get it? How much did you need for the bumper?
Thanks,
Dan

Looks good Eric! Are you planning on doing any wet sanding to get out some of that orange peel out (might not be a problem at all, it's hard to tell from photos)?

Wait about 24 hours before wetsanding. But the longer you let it cure, the harder it is to sand.Originally Posted by SecretAznMan4u
Also, it helps to put a little liquid dish soap in your water when wetsanding. Gives it a little more lubrication.
Very nice write up!! Any pics of the bodykit installed?
hmmm. why didnt you attach the front lip like you did the back? also, where did you find the back bumper? its looking great so far. gl with the rest of it.
