    whip update paint,hid,spoiler

    so during the last few months/weeks i've done some mods

    m5 spoiler

    3000K H1 hid's






    really tough to get teh right color in teh pics....


    this is kinda it, only about 10,000 times brighter









    gotta do something about the color on these rings

    painted front lower valence






    all in all she's coming together
    the tcd ceramic coated exhaust manifold is on the shelf in the bedroom,
    and the turbonetics t4 ptrim is on its way =]

    oh and btw, 3m rubbing compound will fix any problems u might have...
    car feels sluggish? buff it w/ rubbing compound...
    car doesn't turn in crisply? buff it w/ rubbing compound...
    paint is oxidized? buff it w/ rubbing compound...

    Not feeling the 3xxxK hids bro.

    spoiler looks good but it needs to be sprayed... the whole car that is. Otherwise its good.

    I Like the spoiler but the lights I would need to see in person before I say anything as I can't say if I like them or not. I bet with 3000K you can see every pebble in the road, which is a good thing..

    painting the front valance/lip made a huge difference. Are you going to paint the sides and rear?

    bähnstormer, I think it is looking good.

    I love the Angel eyes, and the yellow is different, but that is what makes cars custom, being different.

    I REALLY need to paint my front lower valence as well, it is so rock chipped!

    are the 3000k hids actually yellow, or are they just showing up funny in the pics... if they are yellow... perhaps they are fog light material

    an audi friend has em in his fogs, and yeah they are yellow
    do a google search for kelvin color scale and u'll see....or
    come over my house and u'll see better =]
    heheheh



    i have spp 80watt yellow bulbs + yellow lamix on my fogs
    and the hids absolutely kill it in terms of brightness and yellowyness
