Ellijay MTN run June 25th!

As the title reads. If some of you Georgia peeps want to join us another Ellijay MTN drive is being planned for June 25th. As always we will be stopping for lunch at our favorite cajun place, The Cajun Depot in downtown Ellijay. We will be going through Fort MTN and all around. We will be meeting at the East Brainard Bi-Lo parking lot at 10 AM and departure set for 10:30AM. I know for some of you georgia people to meet all the way out here will be kinda far so we can meet up closer if you guys want to join us. The drive will take about 4 to 5 hours depending on how long lunch takes. As always the more the better. I will go ahead and start a list for the people attending. Just add your name if you want to join. Hope you guys can make it! If you cant make the whole drive you all are more than welcome to join us for lunch. Cya there!

I replied to the other post as well, but was curious what time you all will be arriving in Ellijay as some people from the atlanta area may want to head up from here and meet up?

how far away is there from Roswell, GA? just wanting to see how far i would have to drive to get to the meeting spot...

1.5 hours. Straight up 400 to 60 west if you want the scenice route, or take 75 north to 575 to Ellijay. Eay as pie.

I am planning for us to be in Ellijay about 1230 or a lil bit earlier. As Geordie said, it should only be about 1.5 hours away from you guys in ATL...Not too bad for some good downhome cajun food

Come on down buddy. The more the better. If you would like to do some of the MTN twisties with us we can meet you at the bottom of the MTN. There is a gas station we usualy stop at before we make the trek up the MTN. I really like doing this run because the roads are rarely traveled by others so we can have fun...Hope to see you there.

I may be up for a run, may bring a few others if at all possible. Havent been up there in a while. Went up a month back or so with my friend and his porsche and we both got pulled over

So kinda been laying low for the time being, but want to get back up there

My best talent is eating so I'd be going for the food, not the twisties

Yeah, If you guys want to meet us here that morning that would work great but if not we can meet closer to Ellijay/ Fort MTN. The main twistes dont happen until Fort MTN which will take us about an hour to arrive there. We take 2 lan ebackroads from here all the way to our destination point so its fun regardless. Let me know what you come up with so I can give you directions as to where to go.

Ok so when and where r the GA folks meetin, cause like maybe we can meet up and go together. I don't mind takin the 400 to 60 route, or we can just take 575, like Geordie said.

I know a lot of the porsche guys will meet at the north point starbucks in the morning, off of mansell (Exit 8) then take 400 to 60, thats the way I always go since Im right off 400.
