    Angeles Crest Drive 02/12/06 (Updated)

OK everybody. Last weekend I intend to go for a drive through the curvy hills of Angeles National Forest. It did not work out especially because I posted it very late. So...Now you have the whole week to make some time.

We will meet by In & Out in Glendale at 12:00PM on Sunday. We can have lunch and than go to the hills. Lets make this a nice enjoyable cruise. We don't want to fly off the cliffs and make this a sad Sunday. So please respect this.

I will post a map of the tour.

    Lets get the count begin.

If you think its dumb, than just don't come. There will allways be someone who will make comments about this and that.

Glendale Mall at 12:00PM on Sunday. You like it come and enjoy the day with Bimmer friends or just ignore the thread.

i hate that red robin in glendale galleria. the management is lousy, the service is subpar, and the food was cold/horrible. if were gonna eat lets do it somewhere else. i'll never eat at that red robin again.

sandy i'll be down for a drive. i think my car should be done by then.

gugo is right man. Glendale Galleria at noon on a sunday is just a bad idea. Why not meet at in n out or something? Foods better/not as crowded. Closer to the crest.

Did I say I dont want to come? I just said that Glendale Galleria is a stupid place to meet up especally at 12noon when everyone is at the mall, you wont find parking next to each other, you want to have a meet where everyone parks at a different spot in a parking lot size of 5 football feilds? Commen sense ive been living in Glendale for 15years i know every alley in Glendale so dont get upset when im trying to help you out by sayings thats a stupid place to meet. And would be better to meet up somewhere closes to Angeles Crest, getting from Galleria to the freeway is a bitch always traffic you have to take alot of turns and someone is bound to fall behind and get lost.

    Revised!

We will be meeting by In & Out in Glendale.

Here is the map of the route that I came up with. The drive through the hills is about 65 miles.

Sorry dude, you know I'm out on this one, but then agian there is next week...

For most people though I would recomend just doing up to Newcomb's Ranch or Mt. Wilson and then back down, doing the full round trip is too much for most people who don't wanna end up at a place different from where they started.

Also, think about postponing your run by 1 week, the e46 fanatics are having the Glendale Meet on the 19th and are doing a run up in the crest, I dont know if you guys are interested or not, just your preferance and my heads up to you. Night bros, sorry I have to sit this one out!
