I went to my local shop Tunerworks here in Calgary, and guess what I see?? Not any normal BMW..... As I walked up, I noticed the Kinesis wheels, and the MaxVelocity lip. Then the hood was popped, and underneath, a CORVETTE LS1 ENGINE!!! Sounds freaking bad ass, and my can this thing do stuff that'll get you into more than enough trouble....
Besides the the stoptech kits within the wheels, you won't have any clue how this E36 was able to blow by you as if you're going backwards from a red light.....Pics:

many people didnt like it because it has a corvette engine instead of a BMW engine.

id rather go turbo than put an ls1 in there.. it kinda takes away from the car, IMO
sure its a great power block, but its just not the same without an M motor in there, loses its main reason for being a bmw

Thats insane. Really clean install. I bet it turns faces everywhere when they hear it drive by. I went to carlilse car show last year in PA and there was a guy with a 318 sedan that dropped an LS1 in there, very nice. Who is the company that the used for the kit, or was it all custom?

well an ls1 is lighter than v8, and inline 6 bmw motors I would assume.
Imagine that car twin turbo'ed holy crap that would be a crazy sleeper.

Why is everyone suggesting the M5 engine? Just use an Ls6, cheaper, lighter, smaller, and just as powerful.
