What are people's general opinions with these following BMW Dealers...BMW of Bayside, Rallye, Habbastead (sp?), Competition Imports, etc? Both in terms of sale (flexibility on pricing) and service?

I will probably take the car to Bayside BMW since it is the closest, but I will buy elsewhere if price is good...

Looking to get a 2003 E46 later this year

Competition is in Greenwich CT. Westchester BMW does an awesome amount of business (which could be good and bad). They also have a huge preowned dept. The one to stay away from in the NY area is World Wide of Cars in Spring Valley, Rockland County. Even BMWNA talks shit about them.

There is a Competition BMW in Smithtown, LI, Clinton. I believe that's what he was referring to.

But of those mentioned, Habberstad is the best. Stay away from Rallye at all costs.

I have been using BMW of Bayside since 1994 and have had no issues. It is pretty scary when everyone knows my name, but I do not know theirs. :)

I have had some issues back in 94-96 (prior to Tony as mentioned above), but recently even with my car on an aftermarket extended warranty I have no complaints.

I am gonna go to BMW Bayside and try to deal on a 03 325xi tonite...

I will start offering them with $500 over invoice but stopping with 3% over (around $800), you guys think I have any shots?

Oh yeah I will be trading my 02 Subaru in at the same time, but they wont know till i can get a satisfactory price on the new car...

wish me luck :embarrasm
