Dude, no offense intended, but you are hereby not allowed to create a wiper blade thread. I'm going to give the answers for the last time and when I do, I ask that you modify/edit your thread and post, "Never mind, thread deleted." Okay?
1). It's not the wiper inserts' fault. They have a lifetime, like everything else.
2). There are no other inserts to purchase. Go to your dealer and buy INSERTS ONLY, just the RUBBER.
3). Or if you feel the ARM is really the cause, buy it too, but 99% of the time it's just the insert (aka RUBBER).
4). CLEAN YOUR GLASS AND POLISH IT TOO. Go to Autogeek and get Glas Polish from Einszett. Before you polish the windshield, CLAY IT. Buy CLAY from Autogeek, follow directions and clay the glass. Then polish it with GLAS POLISH.
5). Put NEW rubber inserts onto the arms.
6). OIL and LUBE the SPRINGS of found in the actual WIPER ARMS. Lift the arm up/away from the windshield, peek under there and you'll see SPRINGS....LUBE THEM.
7). Treat the rubber inserts to some 303 WIPER BLADE TREATMENT found at autogeek. Treat them monthly. Use a QUALITY window cleaner fluid found at Autogeek and use STONER GLASS CLEANER also found at Autogeek.
Now. Right now...edit and modify your thread or I will use Teh Force and break your FSU so when you wake up tomorrow your battery will be dead. I will do it. No more wire hangers and no more wiper blade threads. Ever.

Stop annoying chattering, skipping and streaking wipers in seconds. With a quick wipe, 303 Wiper Treatment reconditions hardening rubber blades and makes them glide like new. A penetrating lubricant coats the natural rubber used in wiper blades. Snow and ice will not stick to treated blades and blades will not freeze to the windshield overnight.
Each packet treats 2-3 blades.

Polish weathered automotive glass to crystal clear perfection.
Your windshield is constantly bombarded by environmental elements and requires as much attention as your car's paintwork. Glas Polish restore the surface to its original smooth condition by effortlessly removing embedded dirt, adhesive residue, wax, grease, oil and smog film, paint and putty residues without streaks or glare. The results will allow for a clearer view and allow your windshield wipers to clean more effectively for enhanced performance. Apply by hand or machine.
1Z Einszett Glass Polish works by deep cleaning windshields and windows. Dirty glass can shorten the life span of your windshield wipers and reduce your visibility. Oily films and grease mix with rain water to distort and cloud your view of the road ahead. 1Z Einszett Glass Polish removes these films and embedded contamination to give you the clearest view possible.
1Z Einszett Glass Polish is a gentle polish formulated specifically for glass. It works by pulling dirt, wax, oils, and environmental pollution out of the microscopic valleys of the glass, thereby smoothing out the tiny bumps you may see on your windshield. The glass polish works without streaking or distorting the glass, and it does not create a glare. Your vehicle’s windows will look like new!
You can even use 1Z Einszett Glass Polish on mirrors! The polish is that gentle. Because mirrors reflect, you see a double image of any imperfections on the mirror. 1Z Einszett Glass Polish eliminates imperfections caused by contamination without scratching or streaking. Your rearview mirrors, and even the mirrors inside your home, will look better than they have in years.
1Z Einszett Glass Polish can be applied by hand or machine. If applying by machine, we recommend using a dual action polisher or a drill. For drill application, the Spot Buffs Kit gives you an assortment of 4 inch pads and a small backing plate that can be used again and again for spot polishing. For polisher application, we recommend the Lake Country Glass Polishing Pad. The foam pad is specially designed to enhance the performance of any glass polish. Use a 5 inch backing plate.
Restore the clarity of your windshield and windows by deep cleaning them with 1Z Einszett Glass Polish. Not only will your vehicle look better, you will see better.

just a little tidbit, Ive found that a good rubdown of the wiper blades with a damp microfiber towel(pinch the blade between your fingers with the towel and rub till no more black shows on towel) work wonders for prolonging the life of blades and in their performance.

Wiper blade inserts replacements are expensive. I was at a Toyota dealership and tried the G650 wiper blade inserts for about $5 each (part number 85214-YZZF1) They fit perfectly, I just had to shorten one of them a little. I have a 2000 528i

- Ok so recently my wiper blades started to act up by turning into a musical instrument rather than wiping my windshield. I want to get silicone wipers for my 03 bmw 525. I can't find a single manufacturer that makes them for our cars. Siliblade- NO, Tripledge- NO, PIAA- NO. Are there any silicone wiper blade inserts that fit out current blades?
Man.... I missed out. What was the original post?

+1 same here. Reduces chattering a lot. Wipe down the area where the blades sit when not active too since lots of gunk builds up there.

The whole blade assembly is expensive; for some reason BMW decided to make it a weird ass connector that is shared with a couple Land Rovers. 36$ for one side and like 25$ for the other from my work (Advance Auto) couple people have ordered them but I tell them to go to the dealer and just get a refill.

Wow, thanks heaps bimmerfiver. Your input into this thread has put my mind at ease. IMO, this thread, is as they say "an oldy but a goldy".
My windscreen looks terrible and although I've tried my best to get it looking nice n clean (hand washed every weekend) their remains after each wash, blotches, spots etc up to about a 1/4" diameter all over the screen. They are most prevalent outside the sweep of the wiper blades and look terrible, especially when the light catches them. Up untill now I was at a loss as to how I was going to get the screen looking much better, now I have the answer. Weird how the recent previous owner didn't really bother with it, but it annoys the shit out of me.
Hopefully I can pick up the aforementioned products here in Aust. if not I'll get them stateside.
I also give thanks to NNY528I for a possible simple fix to increase the longevity of the blades. It makes sense to remove the tired old rubber and expose a nice clean edge.
Nice one.
Thanks again bimmer/NNY.

Went to my local BMW stealer and they wanted $30 for both blade INSERTS only. I emphasized I just wanted the rubber strips... he assured me that this is what he was quoting. Wow...
