What exactly do you want to know? Here, Bimmerfest and E46Fanatics are probably your best bets for information about these cars.

Really I am looking for a Car & Driver'esque road test. You know what I mean?

Maybe a comparison to an Audi A4 2.0T Quattro.

I am going to be driving my future XI through ice and snow, I want to be sure it's up for the task, before I blow a good chunk of cash.

By the way, your car looks very nice.

We don't see a ton of snow here in Ohio but we occasionally get a dumping here and there. We had an episode where we got several inches of snow here this past winter and my xi handled it with ease. I will say that I have a set of winter tires for the colder weather. This may be overdoing it but the peace of mind was worth it for me.

I was going to go with the winter tires as well. I snowboard a lot, so it's a big deal for me. Thanks for the links man, good looking out.
