Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying Yes, I've researched on this topic. Though on the threads I've read there are too many different answers.
So can people who've actually done this give me their thoughts on the topic.
So far I've come up with putting 1/3 in the brake line booster, and either the rest in the gas tank or some in the oil and the rest in the gas tank. Of course i'd be getting an oil change shortly after if I decide to put some in there.
What do you think? Should i not put it in the oil? Should I be driving the car when i do this, or just revving it, or leaving on idle? Also did any lights come on for you when you had done this?
Thanks
Meric

I've only put it in the gas tank before. Really helped the mileage.

I have used SeaFoam only in the tank. Works, too. That said, I have a question about putting it in the engine. What is the REAL benefit of that?

Supposed to lubricate and clean any carbon build up in the upper cylinder. Same effects faster results

Is this stuff good for cleaning up bad oil deposits inside the engine? I'm gonna hopefully post a thread about this right now since this is my 15th post and I can now post pics!!!!

How full was your gas tank when you applied it? And how much of it was used? Thanks

I use it in my oil every other oil change. I put it in about 100 mile prior to changing oil. Everytime I drain the oil after adding seafoam it comes out very black. Seems to make the engine run very quiet and very smooth. I also use it once every 6 months through the brake booster.

Glad to hear from someone whos done it! So how much should i put? 1/3 of the can? Will it also be okay to drive for those 100 miles? Should I take it for a nice drive so that the seafoam gets working. Thanks

To answer both of your questions, I put a full can in the tank when I fill up. I don't have any specific schedule as "Top Tier" gasolines have detergents anyway. Generally smooths out the engine a bit, so I know it is working.
As for in a crankcase, the directions are on the container. Basically 1.5 ounces per quart of oil.
I have quite a few vehicles, so I bought a jug of it at O'Reilly's for $52. That reduces the cost of the fluid by about 40%.

Yes I put in about 1/3 in the crankcase and drive all 100 miles, I also try to give it some good revs once or twice to about to 5k. The rest I either add to gas or through the brake booster.
