is there a reason people dont use the German color scheme on their cars? the BLACK RED YELLOW combination instead of the RED BLUE BLUE?

Everyone associates the /// colors to an M-Series car, even when their car is not an M-series. I kind of like this /// combination.

what do you guys think?

///- combination of German flag colours which looks a pretty cool alternative if you do not like or /// looks too boring for you these days.

That is a catchy color scheme, I would like to see someone photoshop this on one of the grill kidneys so we could get the full effect. It's growing on me quickly though.

I agree! I think with my darker car, red brake calipers, lemon slices, it should look pretty good...only issue (if you can call it an issue) is the black stripe matches the black grille...

Not bad at all, could actually see myself switching back in forth depending on my mood. I am presently runing the M color combo. Maybe time to order a second set of grills to make this happen.

Dunno about US, but in Europe this colour combination is quite popular among beemer drivers. I mean more among fanatic beemer drivers though :)

Yeap..
I see those stripes everyday on E39,36 and E6x's.
Much more popular than the Motorsport colors.

Dark colored cars are much more popular over there than lighter - how do they display the black portion of the black red yellow stripe?

They usually look like this one..
But also many put, little "flags" on EU-number plate, with those black red yellow.
