Hi guys. I have an E60, 520D, M47, 2006 year.
I`ve recently checked using ISTA-D that my DPF regenerates at each 20-30-40 kilometers i drive with the car. For example if i drive 50 km, i will get a regeneration. (i saw that in the Last Regeneration module from ISTA-D). When i get off the car, there is a smell like an acid and the exhaust pipe is very hot.
Other things i may say here is that the exhaust is very very clean, the car have 180k km and the exhaust backpressure in idle is 7mbar. At 2000 rpm is about 15-20 mbar.
Also i notice a little high consumption and also a loss of power when the regeneration is probably made. I mean, sometimes the car have the power it should have, sometimes (when i guess the regeneration is under process) the car have let's say 110-120 CP from its 163 CP.
No errors stocked in the tester, only a 003FF0 error related to air mass sensor (but the flow meter is a new Bosch bought few days ago, so it;s something else).
