Removed the Flywheel to see if i can resurface it. Had to use the special torx60 flywheel bolt socket (114180 tool..)..

Anyway, i could unscrew the bolts and remove the flywheel, but i still cannot take the flywheel bolts out of the flywheel to change them. how am i supposed to take them out, or more important how can i fit new bots back in without damaging them???? They need to be tilted, but even with max tilt, they still need to be forced out. Of course they be hammered out, but I still think it is not the right way

I am taking about N63 flywheel type, where the flywheel bolts are torx 60, and they fit deep in. it is not the simple hex head design that seems to be the more common design.

They come with the flywheel I believe and if you loot on reloem there is no listing for the flywheel bolts in the flywheel diagram where there always listed if available

No need to replace them. Put some lock tite on them if they had it from the factory. Torque to specs. Drink a beer.

Resurfacing a dual mass flywheel is not permissible, they are consumable items. If you need a clutch because it wore out 99% you need a flywheel too. The bolts are captured into the flywheel at time of manufacturer and are not intended to be removed. With the dual mass design bearing and spring wear are also factors, not simply the friction surface that may appear OK / reusable. Just put a new one on the car...

Yes, I did install a new flywheel. Indeed, resurfacing the old one is not possible. First, the grip face is not flat so the machine shop can come with the grinding stone. It was supposed to need a 2inch grinding stone in the machine, that nobody had it. + there are grooves (like the old LP disks) to increase the grip surface, and resurfacing would have level them.
And yes, the new flywheel came with the bolts in it.
