Greetings,
new member here trying to get all my **** together. I'm originally from the Miataworld and have successfully built my 300+whp Miata and happy to say, that I'm now boosting my E36 Coupe with all the knowledge gathered over the last few years.

Planning a built M50B28 engine with M52 IM and stock fuel rail. Shooting for 500-550whp on pump gas. So 600cc injectors minimum.
I know the M50 IM is going to get better results, but I can change that later on, these are hard to come by and NOT cheap anymore where I live.

I'm looking after EV14 injectors for known reasons and can't afford ID's or equivalent atm. As the cheap *** I am, I want to try out Bosch EV14 PN: 0280158040.
These are rated at 980cc and I have found SOME info on them, but not ALL the info I'd like to have.
These seem to have a short body (spacer needed) and the nozzle is very long, is that a problem? Is there a long body version of these or are you guys using the short bodys with the long nozzles?

If someone has a picture of their setup, I would be very thankful. Maybe even a drawing/measurements for the spacers?

Thank you in advance!

I believe these should work fine for you. I've never ran those specific injectors you mentioned I went with ID 1300cc and used PnP adapter clips to connect to factory harness plugs also from RallyRoad hope this helps.

Start with ecu/tuner then get injectors.

Thank you both!

I'm the tuner myself and the ECU is a KDFI 1.4 (ms2), so I'm not really restricted

You will need the height adapters to put on the bottom of them to make them 60mm long and the little aluminum rings from rally road to keep them from sliding down to far into the manifold. The wire connectors are not in the same position as stock injectors but you can pop the injector connectors out of the factory wiring harness and get them onto the injector.

Make sure you buy from a reputable source. There are tons and tons and tons of counterfeit Chinese injectors that are garbage

Thank you very much!
I searched a little, but "height adapters" wasn't the term I was using. Now it's all clear :)

Ordering from a reputable shop here in Germany!

Do not buy these injectors! I've had no end of trouble with them; when i ran them, another person's car i'm tuning and other people i've spoken to running them.
For your power goals, go with the Bosch 0280158123 627cc (Porsche 997 605 132 02). I have run these on numerous cars and are significantly better than the 040s to dial in.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

I want to have a bit more headroom in the future, that's why I was looking for the bigger ones. Are you 100% sure you have real Bosch injectors? With the QR-Code on the box the check they are genuine Bosch's?
What dead times were your running?

@Perry:
Did you have the same problems at first?
