ok i do the meguriurs hot shine regularly and i use the spnonge to grab the excess and avoid drips, i like to dress my tires at night when i park my car so that the dressing is as dry but shiny as possible. however when i cruise a couple days i notice splatter all over my rear bumper and front doors as my suspension is pretty dumped so everything sticks to the sides..any suggestions ??

If you can stand less shine, 303 will dry and not splatter.

Or you could try wiping down the tires with a cloth before you drive it. The excess is just going to splatter off anyway.

I use Zaino Z16, Meguiar's Natural Shine, and Armor All (original). I always apply dressings sparingly with a tire swipe. I never have any slinging issues.

before i say this, i will admit that all other products made by this company have in the past proven to be cheap and inferior, but 2 words for you:
TURTLE WAX

Turtle wax makes a turtle wax "tire wax" that comes with a sponge applicator. It really works better than all the sprays and other shit ive tried on my tires. i think its $5 or somthing... definatly worth a look

I use a commercial product called 'Granitize' and apply it by first spraying it onto a fat sponge. Never any splatter.

Stoner's Tire Shine- not really shiny, more of a matte to dull shine. Doesn't sling especially if you wipe/pat down

Even using a spray foam cleaner/protectant like Armor All one and wiping down will not splatter

i apply with a paintbrush to spread evenly.

if i can let the car sit over night, then that is the best way to ensure a heathly shine without having massive "rooster tails." (the kickback from the tire wet)

if i have to drive the car right away, i would just apply and wipe off with a towel.

my brands are: rightlook.com premium tire dressing OR meg's. high endurance tire gel.

I put the product on a tire dressing applicator and then apply it to the tires. I use Armoral. I apply liberally. Usually let it sit overnight. Never had any problems with throwoff.

If you are looking for shine with no sling - WG Black Diamond Tire Gel. Thick gel so you wipe it on let it sit and I come back with an old towel and wipe it to make sure there is no excess.

I just picked up the Meg. High Endurance last week and it's working out pretty well so far. Give's a great matte look. Keeps the tires black but not wet.

Eagle One sells sponges that contour around your tire. they work fairly decently.
