Modifications:
AA Generation III exhaust - sounds amaizing
Cosmos V2 3.5" CAI
UUC stainless steel clutchline with the clutch-delay valve removed (easier shifts)
Understeer fan delete (200 miles ago) including new waterpump
Intrax linear lowering springs and BOGE OEM shocks. The car has a lower stance, but still maintains the factory ride comfort
All lights updated:
European Ellipsiod headlights with stoneguard (functional citylights)
Smoked clear front corners
Smoked clear side indicators
Smoked clear Taillights
Newer foglights
BSW midrange speakers replaced the stockers for a better sound up front

As you can see, these are very minor modifications that have been installed the correct way.

Please understand that I am not needing to sell this vehicle. If I get the price I'm looking for, I'll be moving on to a newer M3 but would not mind keeping this car at all. I have a binder full of service records and receipts, including the NEW WINDOW STICKER!

Here is a little Background info: (as it was presented to me)
This car is a 3 owner vehicle. I am the third owner. I had this vehicle shipped from North Carolina where it was owned and driven by the wife of a prominent physician who purchased the car from his partner, the original purchaser. They divorced, he sold it to me. I have owned the vehicle for almost a year now and have used it as both a daily driver and a weekend cruiser. I have over $5k in receipts for recent maintainance and upgrades as the car recently hit the 100k miles mark and I've replaced just about every wear item on the vehicle to ensure it will last another 100k miles. The car has not seen snow nor salt.


Asthetic Condition:
Always garaged, and that's certainly apparent by looking at the pics. This ///M3 has 106,000 miles on it. It certainly doesn't look the part of a 100k+ car. All VIN tags are in place and there's no visible signs of any paintwork. The car shines amaizingly in the sun, this is by far my favorite color ///M. As expected, there are a few minor pebble chips on the front end, not too bad though. I hand wash (more like massage ;) ) the car weekly and use only top-notch products. I've really pampered this car when it comes to maintainance and upkeep. The interior is cleaned weekly and the leather bathed and massaged monthly using LEXOL cleaner/conditioner. Never been smoked in and odor free :cool

Mechanical Condition:
Very sound. She runs PERFECTLY and makes no noises or smoke, pulls very hard and has plenty of power at all RPM's, no flat spots! This car burns virtually NO oil! I've needed to ad less then 1/4 quart between changes. The transmission has no issues and recently had both diff and trans fluids flushed and replaced with RedLine racing fluid. No whines, grinds or hesitations. I just changed the waterpump, thermostat, aluminum Tstat housing and lower-temp fan switch to compensate for the removal of the engine fan. I still have the fan and will include it for the summer months. Very easy to install, takes 2 minutes. I've recently replaced all 4 tires with General Exclaim UHP's at factory sizes. The allignment was just done 11/16, the car tracks 100% straight and has absolutley no shimmy's at any speed.


Minor concerns
I'll start by saying I purchased this car sight-unseen. I feel the car was misrepresented to me, so I want to get everything out on the table. The previous owner was driving down the freeway when a 6" long 2x4 had fallen off a truck and bounced into the passenger door causing 2 VERY minor dents. I've attempted to get a picture of them but they will not show up in a picture. You need to really look to see them.

The previous owner was a female and the driver's side interior door handle has a few fingernail marks in it. VERY minor, I'll try to get some pics of it posted up.

The rear trailing arm bushings are showing early signs of wear. I've ordered a new set of PowerFlex RTAB's and they will likely be replaced before you take delivery.





In summary, I'd like to say that I looked for a very long time before deciding on this particular car. If you're anywhere near as anal as I am when it comes to cars, you'll be very pleased with this one. I'm offering this vehicle at a price of $17.5k. As I've previously said, I'm not excited to sell her but I;ve caught the E46 M3 bug. Seems to be going around, no :dunno

Tires, I'm running 245's in the rear and 225's up front, OEM staggared. Just deleted the fan, new OEM water pump, new low temp Tstat and fan switch and aluminum Tstat cover. I'm really torn, but I think I'm going to proceed with the sale. I just can't resist Alpine E46 M's! :alright

As mentioned before, your car is beautiful, but I recommend against ebay for nice BMW's. That place is a breeding ground for lowballers and non payers even when they win. Then you're out the $40ish it costs to list your car. I've bought and sold 10 cars in the past 4 years.....I ALWAYS sell them on Autotrader or the local BMW Windy City site. Pop it on Autotrader for a sweet price, and watch it sell asap. :D
