It's die-nan but I've heard some other people pronounce it dee-nan. I guess they try to make it sound fancy to compensate for the high prices.

Di-nan. I've seen him talk on tv and pronounce it that way. I will trust the man with his own last name.

Boy am I glad you asked this. I have been wondering the same thing for several months.
Since we call bimmers....beemers, we may as well call Dinan.... Die nan.
I thought the median education level of a BMW owner was higher than most?:D :D :D

Back in highshool my history teacher always talked about his friend with a deenan M5. It was a hell of a good laugh. He kept asking when I was going to "go deenan".
But I called them a month ago and it was certainly DIE NAN.

calling it dee-nan is like calling target tarzhhhhhhey. stop trying to hard to make it sound classy when it's not.
I always mentally said it as dee-nans, but it appears the general consenus is die-nan. Always good to know how to pronounce these things.
(goes back to practising how to pronounce the Lambo names)

Haha, they're going to be flooded with called from teenage BFc'ers ringing up only to hang up once they get the confirmation from the person at Dinan who says "Hello Dinans..." (click)

Y'all can pronounce it any way you like, but the man himself says "Die-nan", so if you ever meet him, say it that way if you don't want to look foolish.
To many others, it's "cha-ching".
