wierd sound?

i have a weird sound coming from the front of the car... its sort of a humming noise. when i turn the wheel slightly to the left it goes away... so when im making a left turn it goes away until i go back to straight. The sound doesn't necessarily sound like the tire is rubbing something. Instead, it reminds me of the sound that the larger tires on lifted trucks make... kinda like a humming. Anybody know what I mean? and is so, any clues as to what it might be?

don't see anything sign of the tire rubbing anything... i took out both wheels (one was on there pretty good) and nothing...

any other ideas?

Could be a wheel bearing. I had the same thing on my E30 a few years back.
